The work on the construction of a water treatment plant and the completion of the sewage system in the municipality of Stamboliyski has started, announced the regional administration of Plovdiv.
The total value of the project is BGN 41 million, the funds are grants under the operational program “Environment”. Construction should be completed in December 2014.
The main goal of the project is to build a reliable system for removing waste water in the municipality of Stamboliyski, through the construction of sewerage in the city, bringing sewage collectors to the treatment plant and construction of a treatment plant.
In the first stage, the waters from Stamboliyski and Joakim Gruevo will flow to it and be purified, with the possibility of including other settlements from the municipality in the second stage. The development of the project solves the problem of wastewater treatment and will significantly improve the condition of the sewage infrastructure in the territory of the municipality.
At the moment, in these two settlements, the sewer network is partially built, and part of it needs to be reconstructed.
We build ecological infrastructure that improves the quality of life of the population and ensures the protection of ecosystems.
