In Nova Zagora today, the first sod was symbolically laid on the project for the “Reconstruction of a wastewater treatment plant /WWTP/ – Nova Zagora of the Nova Zagora Agglomeration”. This was announced by the municipal press center.
The ceremony began with the ritual breaking of a bottle of wine by the mayor Nikolay Grozev, the chairperson of the Municipal Council – Nova Zagora Boyana Gidikova and the manager of the Waterworks – Sliven engineer Sevdalin Rashev.
The project is implemented by “ViK – Sliven” OOD under OP “Environment” 2014-2020 and has a total value of BGN 9,228,206, including construction and reconstruction of new buildings and facilities, repair and rehabilitation of an inlet pumping station and all buildings and facilities, as well as supply and installation of machinery and technological equipment.
It is expected that after the repairs, the entry of harmful substances and biogenic elements will decrease and reliable and stable wastewater treatment will be ensured.
We build ecological infrastructure that improves the quality of life of the population and ensures the protection of ecosystems.
