Sofia WWTP Kubratovo has a capacity of 1 628 399 PE

Overview:

  • Reduction of high ammonia content in sludge water from sludge dewatering by anaerobic ammonium oxidation (anammox).
  • Upgrading the capacity of the sludge line – construction of a thermal sludge hydrolysis (THP) installation in addition to the currently existing anaerobic stabilization.
  • Construction of bypass from Grit chambers to the Aeration tanks.
