Overview:

The preliminary design includes 3 options of wastewater treatment:

  • Inlet pumping station;
  • Preliminary treatment – compact mechanical treatment facility, primary sedimentation tank, which in one of the options may also work as a sludge storage tank;
  • Pre-treated wastewater storage tank;
  • Biological treatment – two stages of submerged aerated biofilters with fixed biomass;
  • Final sedimentation in secondary clarifier;
  • Activated sludge storage tank;
  • Disinfection with NaOCl or UV in cases of epidemic;
  • Sludge transportation to a regional waste disposal site.
