Overview:

The reconstruction includes:

Preliminary treatment–fine screening, aerated grit and grease removal plant and primary sedimentation tank;
Biological treatment stage – phosphorus reduction (both biological and chemical), de- and nitrification in anaerobic selector, aerated bioreactor and secondary clarifier, using approved activated sludge processes to provide optimal and easily operated sanitation of the wastewater;
Disinfection with NaOCl, used in cases of epidemic;
Sludge treatment – anaerobic stabilization with biogas production and energy generation; mechanic-al dewatering and transportation to a waste disposal site.
